About Us

The SunCoast RHIO is owned and operated by SunCoast RHIO, Inc., a Florida Corporation.  We are a "Full Service for-profit Healthcare Care logistics and quality reporting company.  Our focus is Technology Managed Services.  We utilize government certified software in order to submit data to the Federal Government and to analyze and forecast performance and provider revenue.

The RHIO is a Regional Health Information Organization and we have an affiliated company office in New York.  The name of that company is Health Hub, Inc.

The SunCoast RHIO offers EHR set up and attestation, Certified Quality Data Submission, Electronic Audit response, Health Information Exchange, and Quality Reporting Assurance and forecasting. We are a pilot site for the AHIMA Information Technology Governance initiative.  We will soon be a CMS Qualified Entity in the Qualified Entity Certification Program (QECP) for Medicare Claims.  This means we will be qualified to receive and analyze de-identified Medicare claims in order to assure validation of quality measures. Please see "Our Services" Here.

Reporting PQRS quality measures - including upcoming MIPS and Value Based Quality Reporting - with SunCoast RHIO Assurance Option means you can avoid a future where something reported was wrong. You avoid a case review and you avoid a demand for returned payment.  This is because we work with you to review and validate your practice measures.

SunCoast RHIO is certified as a CMS Health Information Handler under the esMD (electronic submission of Medical Data) project, www.cms.gov/esmd

As participants in the CMS Identity and Access Management system, we can act as provider proxy for PECOS, NPPES, and EHR Incentive programs.

SunCoast RHIO has been approved by CAQH Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE®) Phase III Endorser. Please see  "About Us" tab

We support methods for using "Direct" for secure sending of PHI to other providers with secure encrypted accounts.

The SunCoast RHIO is an interstate collaborator with non Florida RHIO's and HIE's (Health Information Exchanges) across the US.

This site is dedicated to all people who needlessly fell ill or passed on when help was

available but didn't know how to find it.  And to all those and their loved ones who suffered because they didn't know where to turn to find that help.
